The Music of The Pearl

The Pearl, a symbolic representation of what opportunities lay ahead of Kino's family, and the greed it created. Greed led Kino to killing, if he had only gotten rid of the Pearl when it was starting to cause problems he wouldn't have been led to such extremes. Though it's human nature to always want more he could of fought back the temptations of having a better life for his family. Overwhelmed with wealth Kino faced the harsh reality of the surrounding societies. With just one thing powering their greed the music of the pearl started to fade and as it was thrown into the sea everyone's greed vanished along with the pearl.
